How It All Started.
Our Story.
I grew up around the world, spending some of my most treasured years in Europe on an American military base. The beauty, simplicity, and organic roots I saw imbedded in the culture marked me forever. I come from a long line of creative women. Ever since I can remember, I have heard stories of art, creativity, and craft. I guess you could say I was raised in a heritage of creative expression and through a lineage of hard, honest workers. Since I was a little girl, I have always dreamed of creating something beautiful, a life I could love and share with others.
I love to craft and create, to garden and gift give, but my heart always longed for a more direct way to share these things with others. Dreams can be scary, and they can seem impossible, like they’re just simple, lovely thoughts. It wasn’t until 2020, when the world started tipping and shifting, that I finally decided to take a giant leap of faith towards my dreams. At 56, a wife, a mother of 2, and grandmother to 3, I decided to jump! Life is short, and it was meant to be lived authentically. 3 Feathered Figs is just the beginning of my journey to express my life long dream of cultivating beautiful things for beautiful people.

After being exposed to so many wonderful cultures and ways of life, I found myself drawn towards all things natural and organic. Both my daughter and my granddaughters have sensitive skin, and this was a catalyst for me to dig deep and find ways to honor the way they were made by only using what is natural and organic. Clean, simple ingredients, made with love, and curated with intention. We never use artificial fragrances or dyes, and instead opt for home grown botanicals and herbs, as well as the purest essential oils. All of our products are made in small batches, and tested for purity before being sold to ensure the integrity of each and every item. Vegan friendly, environmentally thoughtful, and carefully curated for optimal skin health, our soaps, salts and salves are safe for every member of your family. Have a specific need? I get it!
